Dr.
McHugh, who was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, completed his undergraduate studies at St.
Vincent College in Latrobe, PA in 1967. He then obtained his medical degree from the University
of Pittsburgh Medical School in 1971. He went on to complete his urological residency at the
University of Michigan in 1978. He subsequently completed a Urological Oncology Fellowship at
M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas in 1982. He is Board Certified by the American Board
of Urology.
Dr McHugh is an avid tennis player
Dr. Solomon, who was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, completed his undergraduate studies
at Witwatersrand University in South Africa in 1967. He also obtained his medical degree from
Witwatersrand Medical School in 1970. He subsequently completed his urological training at the
University of Michigan in 1981. He went on to complete a Urological Oncology Fellowship at M.D.
Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas in 1983. He is Board Certified by the American Board of
Urology.
In addition to cycling, running and swimming, Dr Solomon enjoys music and playing the guitar.
Dr. Kleer, who was born in Rosario, Argentina, completed his undergraduate studies at the University
of Michigan in 1985. He subsequently earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School
of Medicine in 1989. He then completed his Urological Residency at the Mayo Clinic in 1995.
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Urology.
Dr. Kleer enjoys family time, tennis and reading.
Richard P. Dorr, MD, FACS, Emeritus
Dr. Dorr, who was born in Saginaw, completed his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University
in 1957. He then completed medical school at the University of Michigan in 1961. He went on
to complete his urological residency at the University of Michigan in 1966. He obtained specialty
training in pediatric and reconstructive urological surgery at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
He holds a Clinical Associate Professor position at the University of Michigan Medical Center.
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Urology.
Dr Goh completed her undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland
in 1989. She received both her medical degree and her Master of Public Health from Tufts University
School of Medicine in 1993. At the University of Michigan she completed a two year internship
in General Surgery followed by a Urology residency completed in 1998. She completed a two-year
fellowship from the American Foundation for Urologic Disease for research in the area of prostate
cancer. She is board certified by the American Board of Urology.
Dr. Goh enjoys travel, Alpine skiing, pilates, and her two cats.
Sean McLaughlin, MD
Dr. McLaughlin was born in Hornell, New York, but grew up in Ocala, Florida. He participated in the
Junior Honors Medical Program, an accelerated dual undergraduate and medical degree program at the
University of Florida in Gainesville, receiving his bachelor’s degree in 1998 and subsequent medical
doctorate in 2001. He then completed an internship in General Surgery, followed by residency in
Urologic Surgery in 2006 at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill.
During his training he was the recipient of numerous awards, including the Kaiser Permanente Excellence
in Teaching Award in 2002, Pfizer Scholar Award in 2004, and the Arnold Tein Urology Resident of the
Year in 2006.
Dr. McLaughlin plays golf and tennis, and is an avid fan of University of Florida sports as well as a diehard Buffalo Bills fan.
Lauri McDougall, MSA, PA-C
Born in Detroit, Michigan, completed undergraduate studies in Physician Assistant Studies at
University of Detroit Mercy in 1993. This was followed by completion of Masters of Science Degree
at Central Michigan University in 2002. Lauri has twelve years of experience in Urology and Surgical
Services in both Inpatient and Outpatient environments. She enjoys rowing, boating and other
fitness activities
